About the Author
William Ettridge was born in England and loved reading British children's annuals. He was a jet pilot in the Royal Air Force before moving to Canada, where he worked for many years at Westinghouse, becoming Product Manager in the Turbine and Generator Department. He wrote many articles and stories for the Canadian Children's Annual.
