Breeding as a Sport: 101 Student Howlers
by Robert Nielsen
Cover and cartoons by Michael Eddenden

Let's allow the reviewers to describe this one!

"With the aid of Michael Eddenden's delightful doodles, Nielsen presents a collection of his favourite howlers submitted by teachers from all over North America. Guaranteed to split sides in or out of the staff room."
N. Moskwa
Education Forum

"I almost never laugh out loud while reading alone; this book had me falling about and phoning friends as well. They missed half the fun: Eddenden's "doodles" are hilariously well-matched to the howlers that they accompany."
Judith Russell
Kingston Whig-Standard

"Of all the odd books to swim this way recently, Breeding as a Sport holds its own with the best of them. Not to spoil it for you, but rather to whet the appetite, let's open the opus at random and see what gladdens the eye. There is something here for everyone. History is your subject? Then consider 'I have nothing to offer but blood, tail, tears and sweat.' Geography? 'Holland is a low, lying country.' Science, perhaps? 'A molecule is a little iddy bit of a thing while an atom is a teensy weensy piece.' Definitions abound. 'Puberty - the time in a woman's life between childhood and adultery.'"
